A painting that pulls its source of light and vibrancy from the tales told and the coffee sipped with a dear friend. How someone can enter your life and bring a substance that you will then carry on for the rest of your life.
This painting brought me to think of someone who changed the lives of our family and brought insight, understanding and wisdom to our doorstep.
To apply a colour to the feeling that person brought daily no matter the weather. The sun rises with the spectrum of colours they embody. A host of golden yellow light that sparkles over the ocean before our heads lift off the pillow.
The sunlight that fed the flowers of my garden and made her petals bloom. To show gratitude for her happiness all thanks to you.
