The title of this artwork reflects on multiple aspects at once. Never to big to be held speaks to the my children as well as myself.
My children will never be too big for me to hold them. Their problems will never be too big for me to sit with them and provide my support. Their emotions will never be too big for me to hold space for them.
To grow as a parent means I must grow as a person. To acknowledge that my feelings problems and emotions are never too big to process and work through. To take accountability of my own emotions and actions because I’m never going to be too big to ignore the importance of that.
